2023 Hao Zhou: Director Hao Zhou’s short documentary follows Zee, a nonbinary aspiring nurse from China, who is striving to build a gender-affirming life in rural Iowa. Zee works tirelessly to pass their licensure exam in hopes of obtaining a work visa.
