OUR SCREENING ROOM IS TEMPORARILY CLOSED
In the interest of protecting the health of our visitors, the Video Arts screening room has closed to the public until further notice. We will post any updates to operating hours on this page. In the meantime, our virtual screening room remains open while we present themed programming from our archives that we hope will, at least momentarily, take the edge off of our collective cabin fever. We look forward to welcoming you back to the Museum’s exhibition sites again soon.
Celebrate April with four short documentaries that take us on a global journey for stories of inspiration and resilience. From the dreams of young factory workers in China to intergenerational traditions passed down on the plains of southern Spain, and from the perseverance of artistic aspirations in a Syrian refugee camp to the escapism offered by a form of combat unique to Rio de Janeiro’s largest favela, today’s filmmakers bring us stories from around the world that remind us of our shared humanity.
