Stuart Hall High School

Stuart Hall High School is an all-boys college-preparatory high school that is within the coeducational, four-school community known as the Schools of the Sacred Heart in San Francisco. Together with the Convent of the Sacred Heart High School, the schools comprise the innovative model Hall & Heart, which offers cross-registration in some classes and extracurricular activities and sports.

The Schools are rooted in and directed by the goals of a Sacred Heart education–a worldwide organization with over 200 schools in an international network spanning over forty countries in Europe, Asia, the Americas, and Africa.

Stuart Hall High School is located in San Francisco’s Pacific Heights neighborhood. Drawing on a rich heritage, the diverse neighborhoods of San Francisco, and international connections, Stuart Hall provides a progressive, values-based program that is rich in art, math, science, and the humanities.

Fly Over honors humanity’s interconnectedness by exploring the experience of travel. Tenth- and eleventh-grade students created the artworks on display, using two-dimensional media to express their understanding of international relationships. Encompassing media ranging from digital design to traditional drawing and painting, students explore themes, such as communication, sports, politics, and cultural stereotypes.
