Airmail flight cover commemorating Howard Hughes’ Round-the-World Flight, New York, July 10, 1938; envelope with blue and yellow round cachet on left with text "Round the World Flight with Howard Hughes accompanied by Tom Thurlow / Dick Stoddard / Harry Connor / Start and finish from Floyd Bennett Field"; blue cachet with image of Statue of Liberty at center; two postmarks: July 10, 1938 in New York with football-shaped “N” cancellation mark over 6-cent stamp and July 14, 1938 in New York with wavy cancellation mark over 2-cent stamp; addressed to Mr. G. Gebhardt.
